How do we start the process of getting services? + -

Call the office, your local regional center, or your insurance carrier.

How long will it take before we start services? + -

Services should start about 60 days after intake information is given.

Will I learn the techniques that are being used? + -

Yes! During treatment there is a parent training portion where skills are taught during or outside of the session.

What types of services does MASS provide? + -

We provide services in the following settings: In Home, Telehealth, Community based services (indoor playgrounds, extracurricular activities, grocery stores etc.)

Are ABA services only for Individuals diagnosed with ASD? + -

Not at all! Services can be provided to children 2-21 years old with autism, Developmental Disabilities, or specialized Behavioral needs. For more information contact our office.

For Aspiring Behavior Technicians

Is there a billable requirement? + -

No, there are no clients and hours are based on staff availability. It’s only required that all staff keep their availability for at least 6 months.

Are there opportunities for growth in the company? + -

Yes, we offer opportunities for growth and personalize positions based on staff goals in order for them to reach their full potential.

Do you provide RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) training? + -

Yes, we offer RBT training to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Is there flexibility in scheduling sessions? + -

Absolutely! We understand the importance of flexibility in achieving personal goals. Our flexible schedule accommodates individuals, such as students, allowing them to progress while managing other commitments. For instance, if someone is in school, we can accommodate her by arranging extra sessions during her free time.

What qualifications do I need to become a Behavior Technician? + -

To become a Behavior Technician, you generally need:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a 40-hour RBT training course.
  • Passing the RBT exam administered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • A clean background check.

Do I need any prior experience? + -

While prior experience in working with children or individuals with disabilities is beneficial, it is not always required. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills to succeed in this role.
